Handmade Unique Objects

Minimalist Black Wood Furniture – Handcrafted & Sustainable

The significance of well-designed, aesthetically pleasing objects has always been central to my life. As a professional photographer, I treat them as an integral part of my artistic expression. Over the years, my visual sensibility has evolved, drawing inspiration from the principles of Bauhaus, the raw forms of brutalism, and above all, minimalism—a philosophy that remains incredibly close to our hearts.

The Podlasie Workshop and Material Philosophy

We create our objects in our workshop in Podlasie/Poland. It is here, surrounded by nature, that we bring our projects to life in accordance with the Ikigai philosophy—seeking harmony between what we love and what is meaningful and valuable to the world.

Respect for the raw material and the principle of sustainability are at the core of everything we do. We craft our furniture using: Reclaimed wood,

Long-seasoned wooden elements that have gained exceptional nobility and stability through the passage of time.

Depending on the specific needs of each project, we carefully select the right species of wood. Our first choice is usually pine, cherished for its deep grain and soothing scent. We work with equal passion with oak, ash, alder, and larch, bringing out the unique character inherent in each piece.

From a Single Beam to the Beler Project

Working with timber is a transformative experience for us. The scent of natural material and the tactile interaction during the cutting and shaping of forms have completely immersed us. With every refined detail, solid wood has become more than just a material—it has become a way of life.

It all began with a simple moment when a neighbor sat on a beam left over from a construction site. That was when the idea was born: instead of wasting or burning surplus wood, why not give it a new life? At 5 a.m., the first project under the Beler name emerged—a small step that evolved into a creative journey and the foundation of our brand.

Timeless Design with a Soul

Today, creating in the heart of Podlasie, we combine an eco-friendly approach with minimalist forms and Polish craftsmanship. Our handmade solid wood furniture, often inspired by Japanese aesthetics, embodies durability and tranquility. They are designed for those who seek not only elegance in modern interiors but, above all, authenticity and objects with a true story to tell.
